In this hub I will show you an interesting valentine's day gift for your boyfriend or husband.

It is a simple and inexpensive gift, however it does take some time and effort to make this work.

And this is a great gift for any kind of occasion; be it for an anniversary gift, for Christmas, for birthday or for Valentine's Day.

However since Valentine's Day is coming, I thought I will catagorize it as a good Valentine's Day gift instead.

This is my first ever gift from my girlfriend!

She bought a great looking glass bottle, folded many straw hearts, put all these hearts into the bottle and decorated the bottle with ribbons!

Yet it requires some time and effort because to fill the bottle with straw hearts, more than 100 hearts are required!

There is a secret message in the gift.

My girlfriend asked me, "how many hearts are there in the bottle?"

After counting, there are 111 straw hearts.

However I couldn't figure out the mystery at first attempt.

After repeated guesses, I finally gave up, seeing that it is a difficult secret message.

She said to me, "One hundred and eleven straw hearts means 'one (1) and only (1) one (1)'. You are one and only one for me."

Now isn't that a great gift?

Similarly, you can impress your boyfriend or husband with a hearts bottle, and create a mystery message for him too!

Here are some advices on how you can start your personalized hearts bottle.

1. Prepare the gift early!

Folding more than one hundred straw hearts at one attempt is difficult.

So please plan out to do a few a day; let's say 10 straw hearts a day. With 10 days there will be a hundred straw hearts.

Planning early will keep you from becoming worried and anxious about having no time to create this gift!

2. When you want to create the hearts bottle with a mystery message, think about the mystery message first!

That's especially important depending on how you want to create a mystery message.

You could hide a little note in the midst of all the hearts, and please make sure that the glass bottle you are going to buy is big enough to contain your note with all your hearts!

How do you make a mystery message with numbers?

You can use culture and number meanings, but please be sensitive to these interpretations!

The Chinese like the number '9', because it sounds like the character for longevity in the language.

So giving 999 hearts to your boyfriend or husband, who may be a Chinese, is great!

It means you are wishing for long longevity in your relationship!

However, for Hebrew, the number '9' represents judgment.

So if you have a Jewish boyfriend or husband, try not to include any 9s in your mystery message!

3. Buy a great looking glass bottle and decorate it!

The appearance of the gift depends much on the look of the glass bottle, and you can always spice it up with some decorations.

If you are having doubts on choosing the size of your bottle, always remember that it is wiser to get a bigger bottle rather than a smaller bottle.

You can always fill up the empty space with decorations, like cotton wool, if you have too much empty space within the glass bottle.

According to the video on the right, you will need two straws to create a straw heart.

Hence, if you plan to make 50 hearts, you will need 100 straws!

So plan out how many straws you should buy, and do buy more rather than less because you want to be prepared for mistakes!
